BRECO (Blast Room Equipment & Construction) Inc. is a family owned and operated metal fabrication business, which specializes in manual blast rooms. With nearly 20 years business behind us, our President and Drafting Engineer welcome the opportunity, and any challenges involved, to manufacture your next blasting project. A SUMMARIZED HISTORY Lewis and Toni Wright founded BRECO, as Blast Room Erection and Construction, in 1989, as a blast room installation crew. After installing a variety of blast rooms, 5 years later they decided to manufacture blast rooms of their own. They had noticed a lack of quality in the blast rooms BRECO was erecting and decided to make a change in this industry. In 1994, BRECO changed its name to Blast Room Equipment and Construction (became incorporated in 2003), when we started manufacturing our own rooms. These rooms, like today's rooms, were built per our customer's specifications. The same crew that was installing blast rooms, were now being used to manufacture them. As Lewis gained knowledge of the equipment, so did the "field hands turned operators" that were working right beside him. This style of teamwork has allowed us to incorporate the most efficient process to manufacture blast rooms. Working as an installation crew was a great bonus for us, because it allowed our designers to work in the field on the equipment, so that the later equipment could be designed to omit any problems, or dislikes, making them installed and maintained much easier. During our earlier years, we set the standard in customer service, and still today continue to hold that standard, far above the competition. Because of this trait, we have many return customers, with new and larger projects. We have built a wide variety of systems, from the most basic, to very extravagant rooms, depending the customer's needs. All of our rooms are made custom to our customers' specific needs. Everything from drawings to paint scheme, if specified different, will be custom to our individual customer's requirements. BRECO has grown exponentially since we began building rooms in 1994. We are now based out of Gladewater, Texas and have a 10,500 sq ft fabrication shop, and a 15,600 sq ft blast and paint facility on six acres. Roughly 20 people are now employed at BRECO, most of which have been here for several years, some for over 15. From our extensive field experiences we have gained the knowledge to design the absolute best blast room systems, using the most reliable brand of products. We can credit our lengthy stay in this industry to our tireless work ethic, experienced laborers and unrivaled customer service, which we know you will appreciate, as much as we appreciate your business. |
